Troop 1607 invites boys from Southbury and surrounding areas who are interested in joining Boy Scouts to visit the troop and speak with it's members.  Boy Scouting is available to all boys who have either earned the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts, have completed the fifth grade or who are between the ages of 11 and 17.  Previous scouting experience is not required, however a commitment to the ideals of Scouting is necessary.  If you are interested in meeting with the Scoutmaster or visiting a troop meeting, please contact the Scoutmaster,  Jim Freund.
